More Finished Socks

These took forever! I’m not quite sure why, but all through the first sock, I hated knitting the pattern stitch. I loved the look, just hated the knitting. Then, after finishing the green socks, I picked these up, determined to trudge through them…and the second sock took two whole weeks (compared to the 10 months the first sock required). Go figure.

Anyway: Knitpicks Essential sock yarn in pumpkin. My standard toe-up, short-row heel pattern. Stitch pattern from Simply Lovely Lace Socks in Interweave Knits, Spring 2006. My bad attitude aside, a very nice lace rib pattern.

And they’re done!!!!! I can go buy new yarn and try something from Cat Bordhi’s new sock book!
